It looks like we have another project from the Warhammer 40K universe. After we presented the AP jacket in Black Templar edition, you gave us positive feedback and many requests of preparing more themes of Warhammer units. This time we’ll try to recreate the armor or Dark Angels on our HEMA gear.
This unit was the I Legion of the twenty original Space Marine Legions. The Dark Angels are considered amongst the most powerful, but also secretive of the Loyalist Space Marine Chapters. They are perceived as a proud Chapter, with history and traditions which date back to the dawn of the Imperium of Man.
Dark Angel in HEMA version
This unique model is based on the AP 350N HEMA jacket. We have slightly expanded the front flap, which now is enriched with the golden embroidery in a form of sword and wings, characteristic symbols of Dark Angels. You can notice similar embroidery on one arm, and red sword on other.
Apart from embroidery, we have implemented a modification known from previous jackets (like the Dark Templar model or the N7 jacket) – rearranged stitching in contrastive color, imitating the shape of armor.
So, black double-stitching on sleeves work as huge pauldrons, elbow covers and gauntlets. On torso, upper section is expanded which highlights the chest. Under the ribs you can see stitches providing the “ABS effect” and vertical stripes visually narrowing the jacket in midsection.
Our Warhammer 40K HEMA universe is growing… Which jacket you like more?
